![]() ![]() I highly recommend this tour! I already want to do it again. After a great show they provide WARM SHOWERS on the boat. Good idea to probably at least try to snorkel a little before going so you can get comfortable with a snorkel in your mouth and dive goggles. Manta rays are gentle giants of the sea, with many residing along the Kona Coast. You don't need to be much of a swimmer, as long as you are kind of comfortable in the water the crew can help get you through (they have floatations devices if needed). They gave everyone pool noodles to keep feet floating on top of the surface, this allowed the Mantas to literally come all they way up and touch the boards and some lucky people. Once in all you have to do is maybe swim a tiny smdistance then hold onto a rail attatched to the light board. The experience of the Manta Ray's was out of this world! Before getting in they explain everything, give you a wetsuit jacket and snorkel. The whole crew was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. He was able to help them and keep everyone who was waiting entertained and happy. Bryce guided them from across the harbor and made sure they got there and weren't left behind. When some people did have troubles finding the spot, Capt. The instructions for the meet up were clear and super easy.
